Música/Nos gusta// Charles Aznavour 'Elle', contenida en su disco "Toujors; EMI, 2011"

Hoy se edita un disco que recopila canciones cantadas por Elvis Costello utilizadas en bandas sonoras de películas, "In Motion Pictures; Hip-O/Universal", en el que aparece esa bonita canción compuesta por Charles Aznavour y Herbert Kretzmer, llamada She, que acompañaba los fotogramas de la comedia romántica "Notting Hill; Roger Michell, 1999".

Nos gusta la interpretacion de She / Elle en francés, en la voz de su autor, acompañado de Thomas Dutronc, en clave de Jazz. El tema está incluido en "Toujours; EMI, 2011" el último disco hasta la fecha de este grande entre los grandes de la canción francesa, que se ha puesto a la venta cuando contaba 87 años!!. Aznavour nació el 22-05-1924. El álbum contiene 12 temas todos escrito por él.

She (Tous les visages de l'amour) sonaba en 1974 en la serie de TV inglesa "Seven Faces Of Woman".

Noticias// El día 27 sale a la venta un recopilatorio de Elvis Costello con temas que han sonado en bandas sonoras, "In Motion Pictures; Hip-O/Universal, 2012"

Evidentemente lo de canciones propias, que dice la gente de Universal en el PDF de arriba, no es cierto. She es una canción escrita por Charles Aznavour y Herbert Kretzmer, que dio a conocer a Elvis Costello entre el gran publico, por estar incluida, en la voz del señor MacManus, en la película "Notting Hill; Roger Michell, 1999".  Y, Days, tema compuesto por Ray Davies, tampoco es suya. Bueno, seguramente han querido decir que todas las interpreta él. Aunque también nos parece que se equivocan pues Seven Day Weekend está cantada a medias con Jimmy Cliff, ...vale, la interpreta él pero, es un dueto. En cuanto a composiciones "propias", diremos que hay dos a medias con su segunda esposa Cait, y otra mano a mano con Burt Bacharach.
¡Estos de Universal nos quieren marear!. Menos mal que siempre nos quedará la música.
