Música/Qué escuchar// Graham Parker 'Imaginary Television; Bloodshot / Houston Party' / Abril 2010.

Para mí y para algún amigo, un nuevo disco del Señor Parker siempre es un motivo de alegría, por eso estamos contentos con este "Imaginary Television; Bloodshot/Houston Party", trabajo que evoca aquellos que grabó hace ya más de treinta años, y que contiene, nada más y nada menos que buen Pop-rock, con pinceladas de Jazz manouche, Bring Me A Heart Again, o ritmos caribeños, More Questions Than Answers ... elementos con los que el inglés construye un puñado de buenas canciones, para paladear con tranquilidad. Graham Parker ya no tiene la rabia de antaño, pero conserva el sentimiento.

Con el estupendo guitarrista Dave Edmunds, cantando un tema propio, que no grabó hasta hace poco en estudio, en el disco "Your Country"(Bloodshot, 2004), y que Dave había cantado en su, genial, Lp "Repeat When Necessary, 1979". ¡Rock'n'roll!

En vivo, de "Heat Treatment, 1976", con su fantástica banda de acompañamiento, The Rumour, formada por músicos de disueltos grupos del llamado Pub Rock, movimiento musical que revitalizó la escena musical inglesa en los 70´s, Brinsley Schwarz (guitarra), Bob Andrews (teclados), Martin Belmont (guitarra), Steve Goulding (batería) y Andrew Bodnar (bajo):
